The Industrial Communication Board (ICB-HSMC) is designed specifically to support industrial communication that includes RS232, RS485, and CAN (Controller Area Network) via High-Speed Mezzanine Card (HSMC). Digital communication networks implement field bus protocols based on serial communication protocol standards for real-time and reliable distributed control in areas such as industrial automation and instruments. The ICB-HSMC has 2 ports each for RS-485 and CAN, with a single port for RS-232. In addition, a GPIO and 4 PIO connectors are provided for user programmable input output purposes.
